Katy Perry roars into twitter history

First Katy Perry upset Lady Gaga with the #1 record (‘Roar’) over Gaga’s ‘Applause’ last August. Now Katy has taken Lady Gaga’s “Queen of Twitter ” crown! Katy made twitter history yesterday when she reached 50 MILLION twitter followers. Imagine having that many people follow you!


However, it sounds like Lady Gaga had already been “dethroned.” Apparently Justin Bieber
surpassed her in number of twitter followers last January with over 49
million twitter followers, and Katy inched past him last November. Justin passed President Barack Obama, who had a little over 41 million followers. Goodness! Congratulations to Katy. It looks like 2014 is going to be an amazing year for her!
