Location: San Francisco, California
Designer Nina says: This San Francisco Apartment is in a
beautiful 1929 building in Russian Hill with amazing views of the Bay
and Golden Gate bridge. Since the homeowner moved to San Francisco with
virtually nothing, it's just a shell of what it could become. He wants
the space that is comfortable, inviting, and sophisticated.
molding and archway. The living room is fairly large and we created a
seating arrangement that is intimate and cozy. Having a tufted chaise in
front of the window serves as reading nook as well as additional
seating for guests when entertaining or just simply to enjoy the view
with a cup of coffee.
We kept the wall color warm and neutral. Introducing Aubergine and
Blues as accent colors brings adequate pops of colors in the space. Rich
textures found in the African Juju hat and leather strips of patchwork
area rug in bedroom as well as subtle pattern in artwork, throw pillows
and living room area rug creates a beautifully balanced, well collected
space yet edgy and timeless.
