Actress and generally flawless human Freida Pinto is currently in Italy, where she's on hand to celebrate the premiere of her new movie, "Desert Dancer," at the Ischia Global Film and Music Festival. For the beachfront gala on Sunday, Pinto chose a summery white gown by Marios Schwab from the designer's spring 2014 collection, and we think she nailed the look.
While white can be a tricky color to pull off, the embroidered panels of blue florals keep the dress from looking too bridal, and her cobalt necklace is the perfect accent to the gown's hint of blue. Plus, the sheer panel at the top gives the look a modern edge.
It's pretty tough to compete with that Italian waterfront backdrop she's posing against, but somehow she managed to out-pretty the scenery. Well done, Pinto.
