Oh snap! It looks like Marc Jacobs will soon be named John Galliano's successor at Dior. The designer's legal representatives (read: business partner Robert Duffy) are said to be in talks with LVHM this week in Paris to hammer out the deal. Since Galliano's anti-Semitic scandal in March, LVHM reportedly approached a number of notable names -- including Lanvin's Alber Elbaz, Balenciaga's Nicolas Ghesquière, Alexander McQueen's Sarah Burton, Haider Ackermann and Hedi Slimane -- to take over the Dior brand. If Jacobs leaves the Louis Vuitton helm, the most likely replacement for that position is Céline's Phoebe Philo. Isn't fashion musical chairs fun?!
