When the star returned from the military in 1960, the Tankers who were one of Elvis’s earliest fan clubs, and they gave him the watch. He wore the watch for 6 months, then watch needed repairs and hence Elvis gave it to his uncle to get it fixed, but later decided to let him keep it. The watch was sold for $24K along with a letter from his uncle Vester Presley.

The jacket has a lining with a label that reads Western Costume Co / Hollywood / 2318-4 / John Wayne / Chest 50. The costume also has a long sleeve, single pocket shirt of fine blue cotton, custom-made for Wayne by Ermenegildo Zegna, that he worn in the film True Grit.
