Indeed, 83% of these injuries were related to the use of shaving razors, and women ages 19 to 28 were the most at-risk group. (Jeez, can't us ladies ever catch a break?) So, it seems that (unless we can magically afford laser treatments), women have two major options: Rip the hair out of our skin violently with wax or risk lacerations/rash/abrasion/burn with the ol' razor. Fan-tastic.
So, the takeaway here: Pubic-hair removal is to be taken seriously, done with caution and a really, really good razor. Don't mess around here, ladies.
